The featured industrial designer for today is from the Philippines. He is Kenneth Cobonpue. I followed his site from a post by A Dialogue with K on edgy design. Kenneth studied Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute in New York in 1987. In 1996, he returned to Cebu Philippines to manage Interior Crafts of the Islands, a furniture design and manufacture company founded by his mother in 1972.
He has won numerous award including the Design for Asia Awrad in Hongkong, the highest award in Asia for his Lolah chair. › Continue reading

I would like to share with you this remarkable product I found on the net. Switch table and chair is a completely handmade furniture made in Belgium. The furniture is made of leather, polyether foam and European oak. Switch table and chair consists of a u-shaped table or backrest and a leather ball. As the name suggests, you can switch it easily from a chair with backrest or a chair and table.
