The featured industrial designer for today is from the Philippines. He is Kenneth Cobonpue. I followed his site from a post by A Dialogue with K on edgy design. Kenneth studied Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute in New York in 1987. In 1996, he returned to Cebu Philippines to manage Interior Crafts of the Islands, a furniture design and manufacture company founded by his mother in 1972.
He has won numerous award including the Design for Asia Awrad in Hongkong, the highest award in Asia for his Lolah chair. › Continue reading
